the area located 20 kilometers south
of Edmonton, Alberta’s capital city.
The region is comprised of Leduc
County, the city of Leduc, the towns
of Beaumont, Calmar, and Devon, as
well as the villages of Thorsby and Warburg.

expansive growth, including a 35 percent increase
in population over the last eight years. More
than 56 percent of the regional population has
postsecondary education providing access to a
