Canamex (1/4)


Proposed in 1994, this North American highway project will connect Canada and Mexico via a planned four-lane highway extending from Mexico City to Edmonton, Alberta. The project is supported by key states and provinces including Arizona; Sonora, Mexico; and Alberta, Canada. Although progress has been limited, a major infrastructure improvement was completed last year - the Hoover Dam Bypass on U.S. 93.

This high-priority transportation project in Southern California, serving the ports of Long Beach and Los Angeles, includes a dedicated truck/goods movement facility and significant upgrades to the mainline and interchanges. An environmental impact study is being conducted.

Great Plains International Trade Corridor (3/4)


This proposed four-lane highway consists of three nationally designated high-priority corridors: Ports-to-Plains Corridor, Heartland Expressway, and Theodore Roosevelt Expressway. When completed the corridor will total 2,333 miles and traverse Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Colorado, Nebraska, Wyoming, South Dakota, North Dakota, and Montana.
