The Blythe Company is expanding its headquarters and other operations by relocating to a new 20,000-square-foot production center at the Bailes Ridge Industrial Corporate Park in Indian Land, South Carolina.

The facility for the distributor and servicer of parts to a variety of industries, which is expected to create $4 million in capital investment, will include headquarters, sales and distribution operations, as well as a research and development service center.

“Bailes Ridge Industrial Park and Lancaster County were logical choices due to their convenient location for our employees. The site provides an ease of access and central location for our respective territories. The state and county officials have welcomed us with open arms, and it has been a pleasure working with them during our expansion process,” Blythe Company Owner E. Rhyne Davis said.

“This announcement is a testament to the unmatched business environment we’ve cultivated across our state that allows companies of all sizes and in all industries to succeed here,” Governor Henry McMaster said.

“Lancaster County is very excited to have another headquarters operation choose us as their new home in which to grow and expand. The Blythe Company is a great addition to our business community and we greatly appreciate their decision to invest and create jobs here. The Lancaster County Department of Economic Development and S.C. Department of Commerce are doing an excellent job of working together to make the county’s economic future a bright one,” Lancaster County Council Chairman Steve Harper said.
