Germany-based AWEBA Group, one of the largest and most advanced die-making enterprises in Europe, will establish its first North American headquarters in Dublin, Georgia, creating 52 jobs and investing $6 million into a die-making facility over the next five years.

The company will lease a 30,000-square-foot building where they will produce tools and dies for the NAFTA region. The new location will create 52 new jobs, including tool setters and production workers.

Nico Wijnberg, Project Manager at the Georgia Department of Economic Development assisted the company on behalf of the state of Georgia, along with Lonnie Smallwood, Project Manager at Electric Cities of Georgia and the Dublin-Laurens County Development Authority. Antje Abshoff, GDEcD Managing Director for the state’s office in Europe, offered additional support.
