SPX Corporation is investing $70 million and creating 180 jobs as part of a plan to build a new global headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina. The state's Job Development Investment Grant (JDIG) program and One North Carolina Fund are supporting the expansion.

SPX is a leading provider of engineered products and technologies for global energy infrastructure, food and beverage process equipment, and vehicle servicing diagnostic tools.

The One North Carolina Fund has extended SPX a $350,000 grant. The JDIG is valued at a maximum of $4.15 million.
