Communicare, Knowltown Development Corp., and Vee Pak Inc. are creating a total of 570 jobs in New Albany, Ohio, Columbus Local News reports.

Healthcare management firm Communicare will add 250 jobs in the city, and has been approved for an incentives package that includes total tax abatement for 10 years.

Knowlton Development, a maker of deodorant products, will invest $55 million in a 250,000-square-foot facility and create 200 jobs. Approved incentives include total real property tax abatement for up to 15 years, based on the company's plans to build a LEED compliant facility.

"We're looking forward to becoming a top corporate citizen, being green and creating jobs," said Knowlton CEO John Bertuccini.

Vee Pak, a beauty and personal care company, is planning to invest $12 million in a 105,000-square-foot facility. The company has already been approved for total real property tax abatement for up to 10 years based on LEED compliancy. It will bring 120 jobs to the community.
