Restoration Hardware will bring about 150 new jobs to Cecil County, Maryland, as the result of signing a 15-year-lease on 1.2 million square feet of warehouse space. Located at the 32-acre Trade Center 95 (40 miles north of Baltimore), the new operations will serve as the company's East Coast furniture distribution center.

Restoration Hardware sells upscale furniture, lighting, textiles, bathware, decor, outdoor/garden and youth products. Its website states that, as of July 2011, it operated 87 retail stores and 10 outlet stores throughout the United States and Canada.

The fast-growing national retailer will move into a 600,000-sq.-ft. building in January 2012. Then it plans to expand to an adjacent 600,000-sq.-ft. building--yet to be built--by fall 2012.

Weeks Robinson Properties, owner of Trade Center 95, said the deal represents one of the largest industrial leases signed in the United States in 2011.
