InfoCision Management Corporation, a call center specializing in
fund-raising for nonprofit organizations and political interests, will
double the size of its call center in Austintown, Ohio, in the
Youngstown-Warren area. According to local economic development
officials, the 25,000-square-foot expansion, a $6 million investment,
will clear the way for 200 new jobs at the facility, which already
employs 500. The Tribune Chronicle newspaper in Warren
reports that, pending approval by Mahoning County commissioners, the
company will receive a 60 percent, 10-year tax abatement and a job
creation tax credit for the expansion of the facility, which is located
in a Mahoning Valley Enterprize Zone. InfoCision employs more than
4,000 people in three states.
