Dynapar Corporation, a manufacturer and supplier of automated equipment
control devices, will invest $1.5 million to expand its plant in
Elizabethtown, North Carolina, according to the North Carolina
governor's office. The project is expected to create 79 new jobs over
the next three years; the governor's office says the average annual
salaries will be "significantly higher" than the Bladen County average
of $25,272. "The Elizabethtown plant has been a part of the community
for over 40 years. It is great to have the support of the state and
local government as we expand our operations here," says Ken Verhulst,
Dynapar's vice president of operations. The Illinois-headquartered
company has been given a $150,000 grant from the state; information
about incentives from local entities was not announced.
