Kurz-Kasch Inc., a manufacturer of plastic components for a variety of
industries, will invest $1 million to relocate its corporate
headquarters within the state of Ohio, according to the Ohio governor's
office. The project is expected to create 200 new manufacturing jobs.
The Dayton Daily News reports that the company will move to
an existing facility, consolidating manufacturing operations from
plants in Indiana and Virginia, and purchase new machinery and
equipment sometime this month; the assembly plant at the Moraine
facility is scheduled to close December 23rd. The company has been
offered a $150,000 grant from the state, and the Daily News also reports that the company will receive a 45 percent state tax credit in conjunction with the relocation.
