Curt Manufacturing is planning a $12.8 million expansion of its facility in Altoona, Wisconsin, that will create 125 jobs. The state's Economic Development Tax Credit Program will contributed $400,000 to the project, and the state Department of Commerce's Recovery Zone Facility Bond program will extend $11 million towards expansion costs.

"I am pleased that we could assist the city of Altoona and Curt Manufacturing in this expansion project," Governor Jim Doyle said. "It is great to see them work together to increase economic vitality and create jobs in Wisconsin."

Curt manufactures, imports, and distributes towing systems goods, trailer products, and specialty equipment. It will build a 150,000-square-foot warehouse and logistics facility adjacent to an existing 165,000-square-foot manufacturing plant.
