Levementum, a customer relationship management and business consultancy tech firm, plans to expand its operations center in Indianapolis, Indiana. The company plans to create up to 175 new, high-wage jobs by 2021.

The company will equip a 5,000-square-foot space at The Union, a new building at 525 S. Meridian St. in downtown Indianapolis designed specifically for scaleup tech firms. The company, which currently utilizes co-working space at The Bureau in the city’s Fletcher Place neighborhood, plans to move into its new office next month.

“Levementum is poised for growth and Indy is an amazing city with a lot of ambition and hustle," said Michael Burton, senior vice president of Levementum. "We have secured office space that is within five blocks of a key partner's office which will provide us the ability to continue to develop and grow that partnership and our consulting services. Selecting The Union 525 was appropriate for our expanding needs and fit well with our culture. We look forward to rapidly expanding our team of local talent this year.”

The company is currently hiring consultants, developers and strategic account executives and expects to triple its employment in Indiana, reaching up to 30-40 employees by the end of 2017. Pending approval from the Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC) Board of Directors, the IEDC will offer Levementum up to $3,350,000 in conditional tax credits and up to $200,000 in training grants based on the company's job creation plans. These tax credits are performance-based, meaning until Hoosiers are hired, the company is not eligible to claim incentives.

In addition, the city of Indianapolis will provide additional incentives in partnership with its economic development entity Develop Indy, a business unit of the Indy Chamber.

“Innovative companies like Levementum are finding success in Indiana and helping build our economy and workforce of tomorrow,” Governor Eric J. Holcomb said. "As a state, we are committed to helping job creators grow with our pro-business climate. Making $1 billion available for innovation and entrepreneurship over the next 10 years will continue this momentum and will allow businesses to focus their efforts on developing the next big idea.”

Indianapolis Mayor Joe Hogsett said, “We continue to see momentum across central Indiana, creating a strong tech environment and fostering incredible innovation. Levementum joins a landscape of major tech players such as Salesforce, Genesys and more who contribute to major gains in our city, with growing tech employment opportunities over the last two years, as highlighted in CBRE’s 2016 “Tech Thirty” report. When Develop Indy outlined this expansion and use of downtown’s innovative Union 525 building, it was clear that Levementum was the perfect fit.”
