A leading prepaid payment network, Blackhawk Network Inc., opened of its new service center in the South Meadows area of Reno, Nevada, which will support a number of Blackhawk Network functions, including; call center support, customer service, fraud risk, IT and technology.

The Blackhawk service center has generated more than 60 local, full-and part-time employee positions in the Reno area. Blackhawk has a global workforce of more than 700 employees.

"Blackhawk Network is excited to announce the official opening of its first service center in the United States," said Bill Tauscher, Blackhawk's chief executive officer. "Our new facility will deploy state-of-the-art systems and deliver a world-class experience, while boosting the local economy."
