Virtual Computing Environment (VCE) Company has selected Richardson, Texas, for its corporate headquarters. The company will invest $35 million and create 434 local jobs there. The Texas Enterprise Fund (TEF) is supporting the relocation with a $2.45 million investment.

"Texas is creating the right environment for a strong state economy with initiatives like the Texas Enterprise Fund that give companies such as VCE attractive incentives to invest here for growth," said VCE Chairman and CEO Michael D. Capellas. "We are excited about establishing our headquarters in Richardson and look forward to being part of the business community."

VCE provides cloud-based IT products and solutions. It was created by Cisco and EMC with investments from VMware and Intel. The company is targeting the University of Texas at Dallas for work force recruitment.
