A locally owned property preservation company, Boyd Property Preservation LLC, plans to establish its headquarters in Dalton, Georgia, with estimates of creating of 104 jobs in Whitfield County and 300 over the Peach Tree State. The company, which maintains bank owned properties in the Southeast, will hire employees to work in its accounting, customer service, and information technology divisions.

“Boyd Property Preservation's decision to expand its operations is terrific news for North Georgia's workforce and for the state”, said Chris Cummiskey, Commissioner of the Georgia department of Economic Development. “Most of the job creation in the state comes from our existing industry, so we and our partners, like those in Dalton-Whitfield County, work hard to make sure these companies know we appreciate them and that the can accomplish their business goals right here in Georgia.”

Wells Fargo Bank NA also provided assistance on the project. “Wells Fargo has been a tremendous help to our company in ways that went beyond our expectations,” added Boyd. “It is great to know that we have such hometown support.“The Georgia Department of Labor has been and will continue to be a strong partner of ours as we seek qualified applicants.”

The Dalton-Whitfield County Joint Development Authority partnered with the Georgia Department of Economic Development and Georgia Department of Labor to facilitate this project.
