Bainbridge Manufacturing will invest $10 million to establish its new headquarters and operations facility in Decatur County, Georgia. The project will create 100 jobs in the first year, with a total of 240 jobs and $100 million investment over the next 10 years.

The company will add an additional 1.6 million square feet to the existing 180,000-square-foot facility that is located at the end of Decatur County Industrial Park. Upon completion, the headquarters will become the company’s primary manufacturing center. As the company relocates equipment from other facilities, the Bainbridge location will begin making filters, expansion valves, blower motors, driers, hoses, seals and cooling fans.

“We believe the best investment we can make is in the community. The resources and potential in Bainbridge are limitless. This, combined with the pro-business climate in Georgia, creates a formula for success. We look forward to the opportunities that these endeavors will provide,” said Abraham Levy, CEO, Bainbridge Manufacturing LLC.

Exporting to more than 37 countries around the globe, the facility will manufacture large heat condensers and smaller automotive heat condensers. In addition, the company will also establish one of the most advanced research and development centers in the industry. Bainbridge Manufacturing LLC supplies major automotive manufacturers such as Nissan, Toyota, Fiat, GM, CAT and John Deere.

“When companies such as Bainbridge Manufacturing LLC sell to multiple countries, their global diversity enables them to better withstand potential changes in a single market. Additionally, there is the potential for more jobs to be created or retained through companies that help get products overseas,” said Kathe Falls, International Trade Division Director for the Georgia Department of Economic Development. “We look forward to assisting this innovative company in reaching its export goals through its new headquarters in our state.”

Bill Dobbs, Director of the Aerospace, Defense and Advanced Manufacturing team at the Georgia Department of Economic Development worked closely with the Development Authority of Bainbridge and Decatur County in assisting the company.

“We are thrilled that Bainbridge Manufacturing has chosen Decatur County for its new headquarters,” said Rick McCaskill, Executive Director, Bainbridge-Decatur County Development Authority. “The research and development sector of the manufacturing industry is something new to our community, and we are very excited about the company’s plans for the future of our workforce.”

“With this new headquarters, it’s clear that Georgia is the ideal location for companies looking to innovate and grow their global presence,” said GDEcD Commissioner Chris Carr. “Bainbridge Manufacturing LLC will greatly benefit from the high-caliber talent that exists within our state. Georgia’s skilled workforce, along with a solid logistics infrastructure, continues to be a critical factor for companies that are looking to grow. It’s clear that Bainbridge Manufacturing has found the support it needs here in Georgia.”
