Matic, a digital insurance agency whose technology enables borrowers to purchase homeowner’s insurance during the mortgage transaction, plans to expand its operations center in Columbus, Ohio. The company will invest $400,000 and create 50 new jobs at its Miranova Place facility.

According to Columbus 2020, in November 2017, the company completed a $7 million Series A funding round. Investors included Columbus-based Nationwide, one of the world’s largest insurance and financial services companies.
