China-based Jiangnan Mold Plastic Technology Corporation is investing $45 million to establish a 260,000-square-foot facility manufacturing center at 1000 Robinson Road in Greer, South Carolina. The company plans to create 150 jobs over the next five years in Spartanburg County.

One of the largest suppliers of plastic mold parts in China’s automotive industry, Jiangnan Mold Plastic Technology Corporation specializes in the development, manufacturing and sales of plastic products and hi-tech molds. The company will manufacture a variety of parts and products for original equipment manufacturers and tier one suppliers in the automotive industry.

The plant, which is expected to be fully operational in the second half of next year, is strategically positioned to support South Carolina’s thriving automotive sector.

“This investment in South Carolina and in Spartanburg County will further strengthen Jiangnan’s effort to expand its global leadership role in the plastic molding industry.
