Eagle Creek Software Services, a Minnesota-based provider of customer relationship management software implementation, will expand to Pierre, South Dakota, and hire 200 new workers, the majority of them recent college graduates. "Pierre is a dynamic community that is ready and willing to embrace change," says Ken Behrendt, Eagle Creek's CEO. "We know the college graduates coming out of Pierre can compete worldwide. That's why we're here." The city is constructing a 15,000-square-foot facility that it will lease back to Eagle Creek. Construction should be completed by the fall, but the company has already begun hiring and will begin operations in June in a temporary facility.
