LS Research, a global leader in enabling advanced wireless technology platforms, completed a 5,500 square foot expansion to its corporate facility in Cedarburg, Wisconsin. The expansion includes a state-of-the-art 5-meter EMC testing chamber, as well as an all-new product design prototyping laboratory.

"Our continued growth as a company is made possible through the success of our valued customers," said Bill Steinike, President of LS Research, LLC. "Our investment in the areas of EMC certification and testing, as well as our product design lab, ensures we will offer even higher levels of value, expertise, and capabilities to our customers moving forward."

According to the firm the 5-meter EMC testing chamber provides additional testing capabilities and throughput, or inputs and outputs of data in the production process, for LSR, which has been conducting EMC testing and certification services since 1996. The new chamber, which is listed with both the Federal Communication Commission and Industry Canada, features an isolated control room with the latest technologies in test equipment, designed to improve the testing experience and effectiveness for the customer. The chamber's size and layout will also enable the testing of larger products that often times cannot be effectively tested in smaller chambers.

With its new prototyping lab, the company said it customers will benefit from the speed of on-site rapid prototyping, casting, and CNC machined parts.
