Twin Creeks Technologies broke ground today in Senatobia, Mississippi on a new solar panel manufacturing facility.

"Construction of Twin Creeks' 100-megawatt solar manufacturing site is rapidly ramping up," said Siva Sivaram, chairman and CEO of Twin Creeks. "We are starting construction and our hiring plan is taking shape."

Twin Creeks will invest more than $175 million and create 512 jobs in two stages. The initially facility will measure 80,000 square feet, and will ultimately grow to 250,000 square feet. The facility will manufacture photovoltaic solar panels. The company has headquarters in San Jose, California, and says it is eager to produce green products in the United States.
