Carolina Metal Finishing, a leader in powder coating and custom metal finishing, is expanding its existing operations at 547 South Main Street in Bishopville, South Carolina. The company will invest $1 million to expand its existing facility by 12,000 square feet, allowing for increased production capacity in Lee County.

An affiliate of Paramount Metal Finishing in Linden, New Jersey, Carolina Metal Finishing supplies contract services for metal parts cleaning, assembly, industrial painting and powder coating. The company’s Lee County facility has been in operation since 2006 and currently employs 24 associates.

As an incentive, The Coordinating Council for Economic Development approved a $50,000 Rural Infrastructure Fund grant to assist with the costs of site preparation and building construction.

“Carolina Metal Finishing is very excited to be expanding our manufacturing facility in the Bishopville, S.C. area.
