Almac Group is nearly done with construction on its $120 million headquarters in Souderton, Pennsylvania. The Irish company develops pharmaceuticals for clients within the industry. The 240,000-square-foot complex will create 260 new jobs, and employ a total of 750 people.

"Our new North American headquarters marks a significant change," said Alan Armstrong, Almac CEO. "For the first time, the people and processes necessary for successful integration of clinical supplies, testing, and technology will be working together, hand-in-hand in real time."

Almac chose the site for its strategic location near Philadelphia's pharmaceutical cluster. The facility will open in spring 2011. It will consolidate clinical trials, manufacturing, packaging, distribution, and technology.
