CH2M, a global consulting, design, construction and operations firm, is expanding its Palmetto State operations with a 70,000-square-foot, multi-million dollar, facility at the new Holder Properties' build-to-suit facility at Bonaventure Circle off of Verdae Blvd. in Greenville, South Carolina. The investment will involve relocation of 350 professional positions and is expected to generate 50 new jobs.

Strategically located along the Interstate 85 growth corridor, half-way between Atlanta and Charlotte, CH2M's Upstate operation currently delivers large capital projects in the chemicals, fibers, manufacturing, transportation and life sciences markets.

According to South Carolina Department of Commerce officials, CH2M looks to significantly grow its operations in the Upstate, allowing the company to better meet increasing customer demand. Throughout the site selection process, CH2M prioritized a number of amenities including technology, building infrastructure and location, all aimed at employee retention and recruitment.

As an incentive, the Coordinating Council for Economic Development has approved job development credits related to the project.
