Perot Systems, a provider of information technology services and business support, will build a new facility in Lincoln, Nebraska. The $27 million project includes the construction of a new 150,000-square-foot building at the University of Nebraska Technology Park and the hiring of 150 technology jobs. The company currently has approximately 1,000 employees in the city of Lincoln, who will be consolidated at the new facility upon completion in 2009. "We are excited about making the Technology Park our new home and are grateful for the positive support and tireless efforts in making Lincoln an attractive, positive location to expand the company's home here," says Mike Kerry, a company executive vice president. The state and city will provide tax incentives to the company, which was founded by former presidential candidate Ross Perot.
