Vendita, a global technology and software development company that specializes in custom solutions for enterprise users of Oracle and IBM products and services, will relocate its headquarters from Toledo, Ohio to an operations center in Tampa, Florida.

“Tampa’s technology industry has been generating buzz around the country, and prompted us to look at this market as a serious contender for our headquarters relocation,” said Doug Sullinger, President of Vendita.

“The talent pool, lifestyle, and cost of living here is extremely favorable, and the business climate really won us over. We look forward to an exciting and successful future for our company in Tampa,” he added.

Vendita has moved into executive office spac at 2503 W Swann Ave. as it looks to finalize leasing up to 3,500 square feet of space in Tampa and make an investment of $500,000 in the new Greater headquarters facility.

The Tampa Hillsborough Economic Development Corporation supported Vendita with real estate surveys and property searches, relocation assistance, and connections to industry partners to help them find local talent and quickly immerse themselves in the local technology business community.

“We’re delighted that Vendita chose Tampa over other talent-rich markets in Texas to embark upon their next phase of growth,” said Dr. Ken Atwater, Chairman of the Tampa Hillsborough Economic Development Corporation and President of Hillsborough Community College.

“Our local technology community is one of the strongest in the nation, and each year more companies expand or relocate to this market because of our diverse and highly-skilled workforce. We’re confident that Vendita will thrive here, and we welcome them to Hillsborough County,” he said.
