StreetLinks Lender Solutions, an Indianapolis-based appraisal management company, opened its new 77,000 square-foot operations center in Tampa, Florida with plans to create as many as 300 real estate appraisal and data processing jobs during the next three years.

Last September, StreetLinks invested nearly $2 million to open a 36,000 square foot location. "StreetLinks continues to experience steady growth. The Tampa location will help us fulfill the resource demands that growth creates. It will also serve as an important secondary disaster recovery facility to help ensure business continuity for our clients," said StreetLinks CEO, Steve Haslam.

From its new facility, located in Netpark Tampa Bay where it more than doubled its space, the company provides valuation services and lending technology solutions to banks, lenders and other mortgage industry firms.

"Our highly skilled workforce is comprised of the most passionate and ambitious people I have ever had the privilege to work with," said Tom Hurst, president of StreetLinks. "Their ability to demonstrate this on every transaction is the real secret to our success."

Many of the people 190 now employed by StreetLinks were directly affected by the multi-year real estate downturn that swept the nation. The creation of new positions in this industry segment offers an opportunity to put hundreds of qualified Floridians back to work, Governor Rick Scott said.

Scott added, "The positive changes we're making here in Florida are helping private-sector jobs grow and will spur additional job growth in the months ahead. When companies like StreetLinks choose to expand in our state, it is evidence Florida is moving in the right direction."

As an incentive the State of Florida, Hillsborough County and the City of Tampa offered StreetLinks training grants and recruitment assistance based on the company's job creation plans. "StreetLinks' expansion is a significant economic development opportunity for Tampa," said Gray Swoope, president & CEO of Enterprise Florida, the state's principal economic development organization. "This is welcome news at a time when job creation is of critical importance to Florida's economy."

"We felt that the business environment and employment market in Tampa were a great fit with our StreetLinks culture. We are excited to be a part of the Tampa community," said Paul Bradley, StreetLinks VP of Operations.
