ALOM, a global leader in supply chain management, is expanding its operations campus at 48021 Warm Springs Blvd. in Fremont, California. The company will add a 110,000 square feet state-of-the-art production, fulfillment complex.

ALOM President & CEO Hannah Kain noted the new facility will nearly double the company’s Fremont footprint, to serve a growing customer base with added capacity and rapidly scalable order processing technology.

Ms. Kain said, “Today is a day of gratitude. I am grateful for our customers who are making our continued growth and expansion possible. I am grateful for our suppliers and supporters. I am first and foremost grateful to our ALOM employees whose unwavering dedication to customer focus, quality and innovation is clearly a recipe for success. While also expanding globally, launching this new state-of-the-art production and fulfillment facility as part of our corporate headquarters in the Silicon Valley Innovation corridor provides proximity to emerging technology, added flexibility to meet the fast changing needs of our customer base, and even more capacity to service new customer programs.”

“With trade policies in so much flux, near-sourcing becomes a compelling proposition for many companies,” says Lisa Dolan, Vice President, Strategic Supply Chain. “Companies benefit from being close to the markets, both in terms of time and money. With our expanded capacity in the U.S., we continue to be the premier supply chain partner for corporations that value customer service and protecting their brand. The added capacity support and agility allows us to fulfill up to 41,000 orders per hour during peak time.”

With this move ALOM is expanding its service capacity in North America to meet growing demand and provide enhanced procurement, production, fulfillment, and freight management service levels for customers representing major global brands, company officials said.

Mayor Lily Mei said, “ALOM is an outstanding corporate citizen who is continually innovating and contributing to the economic, employment, and philanthropic health of our City of Fremont. Thanks to the long-term vision of Hannah Kain, we also know that our community will benefit from ALOM’s commitment to environmental sustainability and clean manufacturing through advanced technology and process automation excellence,” she said.
