Trusted Manufacturing, a producer of steel parts and sub-assemblies, will expand its headquarters and manufacturing space in Ossian, Indiana, and add at least 30 new jobs. The expansion follows the company's acquisition of an Arkansas-based biodiesel-processor manufacturer. Trusted Manufacturing plans to add 18,000 square feet to its facility and ramp up its production of biodiesel processing kits. "With.hard work, our company has been able to guarantee our lead times to our customers and remain competitively priced," says Lane Gerber, CEO and owner of the company, which will now be known as Trusted Manufacturing and BioFuels Equipment. "Also, being able to work closely with our local officials in Wells County has allowed us to explore options we may not have had." Incentives offered to the company include up to $220,000 in performance-based tax credits and up to $22,000 in training grants contingent on job creation. Local governments will also provide property tax abatement.
