SCR-Tech LLC, a provider of emissions solutions for power plants, will invest $12.4 million to expand and add an additional facility in Charlotte, North Carolina, according to the North Carolina governor's office. The company plans to create 61 new jobs at an average annual wage of $49,272 plus benefits. SCR, a wholly owned subsidiary of CoaLogix Inc., provides elective catalyst reduction (SCR) regeneration technologies and management services that help reduce the customers' environmental footprint. "We're very excited about our company's growth and expansion plans, and especially honored to have the state's support through a grant from the One North Carolina fund," says Bill McMahon, CoaLogix's CEO. "Our company and our investors, Acorn Energy Inc. and EnerTech Capital, are committed to serve our customers' needs by increasing our production capability and creating new jobs in the state." The state will provide SCR with a $90,000 grant that must, under state requirements, be matched by local governments.
