Germany-based redi-Group, a company that offers quality control management for the automotive industry, will locate its new North American headquarters in Greenville, South Carolina, according to South Carolina commerce officials. The new company, which will operate under the name redi-Group North America LLC, is expected to create 250 new jobs over the next five years. "We are pleased to locate our new U.S. headquarters in Greenville," says Christian Reitmeyer, president of redi-Group North America. "The area provides an excellent business environment, a solid work force, and is close to our clients." The parent company, headquartered in Langenfeld, Germany, provides such services as engineering, quality control, and management consulting to a number of automakers, including BMW, Daimler, VW/Audi, and many suppliers. No information was released regarding financial incentives.
