Area Development
Fast Park, an off-site airport parking company, opened its first Indiana facility near the Indianapolis International Airport.

"Indianapolis is a thriving city," said Manuel Chavez III, Chief Operating Officer. "Airport business continues to increase in the area and we look forward to bringing the Fast Park experience to Indy travelers. We know we're the first stop travelers make at the start of their trip and we're the last stop before they head home. It's important that their experience is relaxing and enjoyable. That's really what we strive to accomplish with our guests and it's what we build our business on."

The Indianapolis facility currently has 1,955 covered parking spaces, where guests can park for $8.18 a day, excluding airport charges. Upon completion of phase two construction, it will have a total of 3,611. Like many of Fast Park's other facilities located in 12 markets across the country, it incorporates many green initiatives, the firm said. The facility uses a water reclamation system for irrigation purposes, low VOC materials and Green Guard label furnishings. In addition, the facility uses a geo-thermal heating system, it will provide four charging stations for electric vehicle owners and has the infrastructure to install solar panels on covered spaces in the future. Currently, the facility is going through the LEED certification process.

The firm’s other facilities are located in the following cities: Albuquerque, Austin, Baltimore-BWI, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Houston-IAH, Indianapolis, Memphis, Miami, Milwaukee, Orlando, Raleigh and Tucson.
