The National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) has issued a statement welcoming the nomination of Senator Judd Gregg (R-N.H.) as Secretary of Commerce. "Senator Gregg's 100 percent voting record with the NAM demonstrates that he has a true understanding of manufacturing's key role in the strength of the American economy and how to keep U.S. manufacturing globally competitive," says John Engler, NAM president and CEO.
