MainGate Inc, a merchandising and marketing services provider for commercial businesses and sports franchises, will invest more than $3.6 million to expand its headquarters and production operations in Indianapolis, Indiana, according to the Indiana lieutenant governor's office. The company plans to add approximately 64,000 square feet to its facility and create 75 new jobs over the next five years. "We have been fortunate to be able to grow our business so rapidly. It is a true credit to our great employees who have facilitated this growth," says David Moroknek, MainGate's president and CEO. "We are very proud of the fact that in this volatile economy where you often hear of people losing jobs, we are creating jobs for Hoosiers." The state has offered MainGate up to $275,000 in performance-based tax credits and up to $65,000 in training grants contingent on job creation; the state and city will also support property tax abatement.
