AW North Carolina, a Toyota supplier, is pumping more than $100 million into its Durham facility and plans to add at least 360 jobs in the next two years.

According to a news report at Triangle Business Journal, the company will build a new production line to make fully assembled front-wheel drive transmissions.

The subsidiary of Japan's Aisan AW Co. has 900 full-time and temporary employees working at the plant.

Just over a year ago the company was offering employee buyouts and laid off 280 workers in January 2009.
