Ferra Engineering, an engineering company that specializes in the custom design, manufacture, assembly and test of aerospace structures and sub-systems, will expand into a new location in Grove, Oklahoma. An Australian company, which also produces medical devices for the healthcare industry, as well as components for renewable energy systems, plans to hire 20 highly-skilled employees.

Ferra supplies leading aerospace companies such as Airbus, BAE, Boeing, EADS, GE Aviation, Thales, Goodrich, Lockheed Martin, Marvin Engineering, Northrop Grumman, Pratt & Whitney, Raytheon, and Rolls-Royce.

From concept to final product, the Oklahoma Department of Commerce said Ferra works closely with its customers, suppliers and specialists to continuously reduce the total cost of ownership to the end user. The firm houses one of the most advanced five axis high-speed machining facilities. This capability combined with extensive R&D and supported by high-level design and assembly expertise makes it the predominant partner to the Aerospace OEM's for mechanical aerospace and defense sub-assemblies in the Australasian region.
