Vacuworx Global, a supplier of lifting technology for the oil and gas sector, is expanding its regional operations center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, with a new training facility and the addition of more than 40 local staff.

The firm, which provides pipe lifting systems for pipeline and other applications, plans to invest $10 million in a 20,000-square-foot training center at 10808 E. 55th Place in Tulsa. Vacuworx recently purchased a building and land for the new center, with plans to expand its workforce, adding fabrication workers, machinists, sales staff and other employees.

“Vacuworx Global has experienced tremendous growth,” said Bill Solomon, owner of the company. “As always, our focus continues to be on customer service and managing our growth in a strategic way.”

The company said 25 of the new positions will be filled within the next 18 months and that an estimated 20 additional employees will be needed as the company continues to grow its northeast Oklahoma operation.
