Raytheon is planning to add 200 new employees at its Annapolis Junction, Maryland facility by December. The company has been approved for $110,000 in work force training agreements to train 59 employees, and has a third agreement in the works.

"The need for skilled cybersecurity personnel is crucial and continues to grow," said Steve Hawkins, vice president of Raytheon's Information Security Solutions business. "We appreciate the support of the Anne Arundel EDC and the State of Maryland for these grants to help train the workforce of the future."

The expansion will nearly double the company's Maryland work force.
