Ryla is creating 250 jobs at its Saraland, Alabama, call center, bringing total employment at the facility to 700, al.com reports. The move puts Ryla on schedule to hire 1,200 workers by December 2011.

"This puts us ahead of schedule for the 2010 milestone, which was 600 by December," said Vice President of Marketing Karen Clay.

Ryla will receive state and local incentives totaling more than $8 million, including $6.5 million from Alabama Industrial Development Training.

The Saraland facility is the first for Ryla outside its suburban Atlanta center. The Alabama workers will serve one large company, which Ryla did not name.
