Coca-Cola is expanding its Northampton, Massachusetts, bottling facility with a 16,000-square-foot addition and the creation of 40 jobs. The company will spend $33 million to increase production of bottled and carton juices. It already bottles Vitamin Water and Powerade there.
The expansion, which has already begun, is expected to be completed by May 2011, according to facility General Manager James Lane.
The expansion will create a fourth production line at the existing 455,000-square-foot facility. Nearly 180 people already work at the bottling center.
