Fenton, Missouri-based Mid America Logistics continues to expand its rapidly-growing logistics company that provides freight brokerage and asset-based freight services.

“In-house developed software, which manages nearly every operating process from operations to risk, allows Mid America to scale faster than most organizations of its size without being impacted by the usual pitfalls associated with rapid growth,” he added. “This, coupled with a young and fun working culture along with aggressive remuneration aligned to success, has led to phenomenal staff retention and doubling our revenue year after year, and that will continue for the foreseeable future.”

The St. Louis Regional Chamber assisted Mid America Logistics in securing incentives through the Missouri Works program, which will help support the company as it achieves its job creation goals. The company currently employs 48 people in the Logistics Division and plans to create 127 new, jobs over the next three years.

As an incentive to assist Mid America Logistics with its expansion, the Missouri Department of Economic Development has offered a strategic economic incentive package that the company can receive if it meets strict job creation criteria.

Company revenue grew from $16.9 million in 2013 to $26.8 million last year. This year, Mid America Logistics is already exceeding its target of doubling revenue to $54.2 million, according to the Missouri Department of Economic Development.
