Tecniplast USA, an Italian company, has chosen East Goshen Township, Pennsylvania, as the site of its first manufacturing plant outside Italy. Tecniplast will create 32 jobs when it moves its North American headquarters to the city later this year.

"Tecniplast started operations in Chester County 10 years ago, and when we made the decision to expand operations, we wanted to show our commitment to our current employees, future employees, vendors, and customers. Chester County was the logical choice to implement our growth strategy," said Marco Carrera, company president and CEO.

The state of Pennsylvania has offered Tecniplast a $62,000 grant from the Department of Community and Economic Development. The company produces scientific equipment for the life sciences industry.
