A newly-constructed 56,000 square foot, multi-tenant building at 127 Mountainview Road in Brookside Business Park at CentrePort Canada is now fully leased, with tenants Goodman Manufacturing Group and Ply Gem Canada, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.

CentrePort Canada is Manitoba’s 20,000-acre inland port and Foreign Trade Zone. Located in the heart of North America, CentrePort connects to major national and international trade gateways and corridors, and is the only inland port in Canada with direct access to tri-modal transportation, truck, rail and air cargo.

Goodman, an HVAC distributor and manufacturer headquartered in Houston, Texas, set up their first Manitoba distribution centre at CentrePort in 2014.

Outgrowing their 12,000 square foot space in just three years, Goodman has moved next door into a 28,000 square foot office and warehouse space that adds a new showroom and training centre to their storefront.

“We have seen tremendous growth since we first opened our branch at CentrePort,” said Scott Croghan, Branch Manager at Goodman. “Our new facility will continue to provide us with access to expressways like CentrePort Canada Way and the Perimeter Highway, which ensures our trucks are moving at highway speeds within minutes of leaving our warehouse. The increased space also supports our operational and employee growth strategy.”

Goodman’s neighbor in the new building will be Ply Gem, a leading Canadian manufacturer of exterior building products.

Since 2009, an Alberta-based development company and Shindico Realty injected over $50 million dollars into Brookside Business Park with over 14 acres still planned for development. Shindico Realty manages the development of Brookside Business Park and assisted in building the facility that Goodman and Ply Gem now call home.
