A new partnership between Dow Chemical and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) will create up to 500 jobs at Dow's new Business Process Services Center in Midland, Michigan. TCS, part of the Indian conglomerate, will operate from the service center.

"Dow's decision to further invest in Midland demonstrates the state's ability to partner with world-class corporations and help them expand," said Governor Jennifer Granholm. "By forming a global alliance with Tata Consultancy Services, Dow has built an excellent platform for future growth."

TCS will invest $12.5 million in the Midland site. The Michigan Economic Development Corporation is offering the company incentives, which helped it choose Michigan over a site in Ohio.
