Lexington, KY-based CMSText LLC has announced it will expand its current headquarters work force of 19 employees by adding 135 positions. The mobile marketing firm will invest $4.4 million in the project.

CMSText provides message marketing services to a variety of industries, including customers in the restaurant and hospitality, medical and dental, real estate, and automotive sectors. Company officials said this expansion will allow them to provide services to more regions of the U.S. as well as to Canada.

"CMSText is proud to call central Kentucky home for our international headquarters," said CMSText CEO Conrad R Carney II. "The growth in mobile communications is fueling our success and the need to expand our operations. The pool of qualified, well-educated job candidates available in Lexington is vital to maintaining our leadership position in the market."

The Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority preliminarily approved CMSText for performance-based tax incentives of up to $2.5 million through the Kentucky Business Investment program.
