IB-Tech, a subsidiary of Japanese auto parts manufacturer Imasen Electric Industrial Co., Ltd., is investing $50 million to open a production facility in Mount Pleasant, Tennessee, to produce seat adjusters. The project will create 385 jobs.

"We are excited about opening a facility in Maury County," John Freundner, assistant vice president of administration for IB-Tech said. "The location, support from community leaders, solid work force, and great facility in Mount Pleasant was key in our selection process."

The company will begin production in 2011, ramping up to full operations in 2012.
