A.T. Kearney: Investing in a Rebound

China, India, and Brazil took top spots in A.T. Kearney's 2010 FDI Confidence Index, and emerging economies such as Indonesia and Vietnam fared well.

In its 2010 FDI Confidence Index, A.T. Kearney examines future prospects for international investment in an economically unstable time. While global finances have somewhat improved, many executives of the world's biggest companies do not expect a full turnaround before 2011.

But some markets are still attractive to foreign investors. China, India, and Brazil made the top five of Kearney's FDI Confidence Index. Emerging markets with large consumer bases, such as Indonesia and Vietnam, also earned high marks. But some smaller economies, such as Hong Kong, fell in Kearney's Globalization Index.
