Florida Inland Port FTZ Status
Question Originally Asked Here:
Will the Florida Inland Port have FTZ status?

John Carver, Executive Vice President, Ports Airports and Global Infastructure Group, Jones Lang LaSalle
Florida Inland Port (FIP) will likely have an FTZ component. The model for this is currently being studied and will be incorporated into the overall development plan. Having an FTZ at FIP will allow for a variety of functions to occur at the inland port that will enhance the project’s appeal to shippers and other customers of the ports of Florida.
