Area Development Online News Desk (01/25/2011)
Auto supplier HYSCO America Company is investing $22 million in its Greenville, Alabama, facility and will add 40 employees to its work force.

"HYSCO is pleased to be part of a company making great automobiles, a fact that is reflected in the public's confidence in the products we are making," the company wrote in a statement. "We are all optimistic and excited about the future of our business and the direction of our company."

HYSCO is a tier one and tier two supplier to Hyundai Motor Manufacturing of Alabama and Kia Motor Manufacturing of Georgia. It will expand its Greenville facility to 410,000 square feet, an addition of 174,000 square feet.

The expansion is a result of an increase in demand for HYSCO's goods and services. The company expects to complete the project by September.
