Agile Manufacturing Expands Its Worthing, South Dakota, Manufacturing Center
10/10/2013
“Both my wife and I were born and raised in South Dakota,” said Michael Feilmeier, Owner of Agile Manufacturing, LLC. “Our decision to expand into South Dakota has been a year and a half in the making, with additional investments being made to our Iowa facility as well. These investments will enable our employees to do more while also improving their work environment. Our success has been driven by the quality of our products. This success is a direct reflection of our employees’ commitment to quality and our commitment to them.”
The South Dakota Governor’s Office of Economic Development provided low interest financing to assist with the company’s expansion to South Dakota. “I am pleased Agile Manufacturing, LLC is expanding in South Dakota,” Gov. Dennis Daugaard said. “The company’s decision to expand into the Worthing area is just the latest example of how South Dakota’s premier business climate is enticing companies to expand their business in our state.”
“We welcome Agile Manufacturing, LLC to our region and are confident their expansion into South Dakota will result in growth for the company,” said Nick Fosheim, Executive Director for the Lincoln County Economic Development Association. “This expansion will have a positive impact not only on Worthing but the surrounding communities as well.”
Agile Manufacturing produces material handling equipment for agricultural and industrial applications within two product lines—Miller Loaders and GrabTec—manufactured just outside Sioux Falls, South Dakota in Granite, Iowa.
